Can you help me choose a career?

I just graduated highschool with about an 80 average. I want to go to college, not university. I want to do soemthing that will give me a career and not just a job. Here is my criteria: I want to spend less than 4 years if possible in college. I *prefer* to be working outdoors and doing something enjoyable and not tedious and boring. I prefer to be making 80k or more anually. The longer the holidays, the better. I am willing to do some travelling (im in southern canada right now) I do not like designing things or using math or anything technolgical (although I am very good using computers) I like working with my hands... I like making people happy (providing a service to them possibly?) I dont know, Im open for suggestions. Im mainly looking for somethign that I can be proud of doing and make a good living.

Out door recreation guide for some fancy lodge. Or a travel agent / tour guide most or not all the tours you do you get to go for free. You can get in the military and do a service job that's for outdoors. Massage therapist at a nice spa resort or cruise line, sometimes they do them on the beach so your outdoors. not sure what your into but these are about the only things that pop in my head sorry Good luck and have fun
Become a Landscape architect. It meets all your criteria. A good landscape architect makes over 150k. Later, you can even get a crew to do some of the landscape work that you designed.

How about u start a company that paints houses? 1) It's outside 2) some traveling (mostly local) 3) u will work with people and make them happy 4) u will definitely work with ur hands 5) u almost even don't need to go to college for that! just may be work a year or 2 for someone else to learn in and outs of the business... 6) the cost of paintinf one house is in thousands of dollars! and if u r good - u r gonna get good and big and expensive houses ! 7) u will hire people and when u expand u don't need to work almost at all - get the client, set the price, get people to work and it's a loong holiday untill u'll collect money (well u'll have to control them too or hire a site supervisor)! ;))) so how about that? fits all ur criteria i think ;)
Go to the closest collage or university in your area and ask to take a test (I think it's called aptitude test but I'm not sure about it) It is a test that examines your likes and dislikes as well as your inclinations. Usually, that test is free; after taking the test, you will have a very good idea as to what you would be good and/or you would enjoy in doing in your life. Good luck NDS
Why not take an aptitude test here http://gsx1.com/free-aptitude-test.html and hope they suggest something interesting at the end, they often offer jobs according to the results so it might be useful, if anything you'll know what suits your personality.
