- Are you saying that you never reported your first DUI to the state board of nursing when you renewed/ applied for your nursing license? Now they are not letting you renew? Is that what I am getting from this or am I way way off base here? PA can/ will revoke your nursing license for DUI - they can also not renew for failure to disclose the arrest on your application. The best I can tell you is to contact the state board of nursing - but first you need to find out if the convictions are on your record. Is it automatic - I don't believe so. The issue is are your convictions felonies or misdemeanors. Felonies must be reported - and then they review them. If they are misdemeanors I don't believe there is any sanctions. Please - this is the state who licensed Charles Cullen up until his conviction for multiple murders! He had multiple midemeanors for other things and was still licensed!! Contact the State Board and talk to someone - they are the only ones who can tell you the exact process and possible implications.
