Is this okay so far?

Job outlook- I would really enjoy being a Social Worker. Social Workers are under the “Human Services” career cluster. Social Workers counsel individual and family members regarding public resources, financial assistance, vocational training, and child and medical care. Social workers also investigate home conditions to determine suitability of a foster or adoptive home, or to protect children from a harmful environment. You need at least a BSW or a Bachelor Degree in Social Work to become a Social Worker. While in college you will need to take classes in social work, juvenile corrections, and youth services and administration. To become a social worker you should be excellent at reading comprehension, active listening, writing, speaking, learning strategies, and monitoring. Social workers should also be good at critical thinking and active learning. Also, if you don’t like math or science, they are necessary but not important in this career.

  1. it looks good to me, keep up the good work
  2. Overall this is accurate. I think you are a bit limited in the focus of what a BSW can would do. It is actually even broader than what you indicate. Also important to note that the BSW is the entry level but that an MSW is highly desirable. Also though math and science are not the most important aspects of social work. Both do have a role in terms of understanding human behavior (the biology of it) and math in terms of budgets and data analysis). DA
