Which HR Career is a perfect match for an Introvert?

I took a career test at www.careerleader.com and the test results showed that my top career match is Human Resource Management. Before taking this career test I have taken other career tests which have shown that my personality type is an ISFJ (Introvert-type). I have noticed that Human Resources consist of several career paths including: 1. HR Information Systems Specialists 2. Classification Specialists 3. Compensation and Benefits Specialists 4. Recruitment Specialists 5. Placement Specialists 6. Employee Benefits Specialists 7. HR Development Specialists 8. Performance Management Specialists 9. Employee Relations Specialists 10. Labor Relations Specialists Keeping in mind that my personality is an ISFJ (Introvert-type) I want to know which of the above career is a perfect match for an Introvert?

  1. I don't believe any of these would be for you if you're an introvert because they all consist of having to deal with people
  2. If you don't like talking to people, then a filing clerk may be your best choice in HR. Everybody has to talk to somebody, and HR people by the nature of what they do have to talk with lots of people both in groups and individual conferences. Cheers.
  3. None of the above is for an "introvert". H. R. must be outgoing and be able to communicate to all employees (ceo to custodian) at all times. Find a field that is not people related.
  4. I am an ISFJ and I am also the Director of Accounting and Human Resources for a small 12 person company. I enjoy this position very much. I like working with my coworkers in small groups and one on one. I am able to be a resource to them and provide key information. I also like conducting interviews. You get to know different personalities and have real, practical talks. ISFJ (s) are people observers and their intuition is usually correct about a person's core character. This skill comes in handy in HR with placing a candidate in the best matched position. An ISFJ really enjoys relating to people but unlike the extrovert, the ISFJ does it in a quiet unassuming manner. The ISFJ is also able to handle serious issues tactfully. This skill is needed in the legal enviroment of HR. The ISFJ is very loyal and is a perfect middle manager and go between for the company and the employees. I think ISFJ (s) are excellent Human Resources employees based on their desire to go above and beyond to serve people. I hope this helps and that you are not discouraged from going into HR by being an introvert.
