Full Careers

Does anybody have a job/career but they do not like it?

I'm currenlty taking classes in the nursing program. I'm in a program because my relatives keep pushing me (mostly to earn more money and be successful). My relatives keep telling me that I can be a nurse and still young enough to pursue what I like. Being a nurse is hard. I feel like I could not be a nurse because there are a lot of hassles (e.g. lawsuits, liabilities, etc.). I'm caring and compassionate, but there's always a fine line how long I can be caring and compassionate. I took this career personality tests and the results said that I'm mostly artistic. The thing that I'm worrying about is should or should not follow what I like/interested with. I presume that most people are artistic; they take this same path, some fails, some succeeds. My problem is what career I should take that relates to what I love, but still not be in a gamble situation to fail? I'm just stating this to know if there are people that feel confuse or worried like me.

3. Been there, done that.. Still Here. when i graduated i wanted to take up fine arts- but since my family was short of budget for my college education, my aunt has to help- as long as she had to decide for my course. i ended up taking computer science. She claimed it;s in demand. not im working as a waiter...... still, i hate my job, i hate my educational background. i hate to see my future. but i would LOVE to save for myself so that when i get to reach my targer saving, i d study again. im still young - & even i get old trying, id pursue my dream whatever it takes.
4. Yes, I have been in medical sales for 13 years and don't particularly like it, but it does afford me the money to pursue what I do like. I would go ahead and get your nursing degreee (you need only be understanding and competant, otherwise your boss and doctors will take advantage of you). If your almost there finishing will teach you how to follow through with things and will allow you to live anywhere you want and pursue your true passions on your time off. Then you will have the confidence and money to follow your true passions and if it doesn't work out nursing will always be there to fall back on and you can try another passion......besides you could become a nurse asthesician....botox, peels, restlyne....kinda artistic work beautifying the aging population.
5. first n foremost, u may not like the job due to some reasons u oblige to work 4 it.but after sometime,u may change ur attitude n like it very much.u see there r many people like u e.g. a graduated accountant who may work as an audit officer in a bank temporary,after a few yr n there is a vacancy(accountant) then only he got the chance to apply in. don't be choosy or fussy about ur job,just do it patiently n have the fun.
6. If you can find a career you like, then you are MUCH more likely to make a success. If you find a jo you LOVE, you will be part of a small minority. Most people I know dislike the work they do.
