Free career skill assessments...I NEED THEM!?

My last post didn't receive many answers but I'm still trying... I need pre-employement assessments for all job areas (IT, accounting, sales etc), and I just CAN'T afford to purchase existing products on the market since most of them cost at least $40 EACH. And the free ones only relate to personality tests which aren't industry-specific enough. So......

  3. I used to work for a staffing agency. We would email them to our applicants... no charge. They can also send you tutorials.. no charge. Try Appleone employment services. You may have to register with them first but, it doesnt hurt to have another source looking for a job for you too!
  4. Where do you live? If you live in Vancouver, BC Canada. Look for a Case Manager from an Employment Resource Centre and get a referal to Douglas College to take a TOWES test. If you live in other cities in Canada or USA, find out similar service provided by the government so that you don't need to pay.
