Back up career to barrel racing?
Hi, I posted this in another catergiry also, but I thought maybe Id try for more answers. When I get older, I want to be a professional barrel racer. But, obviously I can't be the next Martha Josey over night. (I'd LOVE to though!!!) So, I need another career, also, one that will give me time enough to ride my horses, but has enough pay to support my horses and future family! Thanks, and if you have any links or anything, please tell me! p.s. I'd love to work with horses or cats/dogs in my other career, if possible. :)

- You'll need to calculate the costs of feeding and caring for yourself and your horses, the property, your truck, and all the equipment, the taxes --- once you do that, add 10-20% more for the unexpected, and you'll have your target income figured out.
