  1. Mr Cool may i suggest a reading of '48 days to work u love' d.miller . a good book for going forward and plenty of fresh reference material. the other one is 'total money make over' d.ramsey helps our folks retain their cash. spending less and getting more value from their paychecks. our associates have a mandatory read of the books
  2. Open the classified ads of your local paper, or look at job postings online to see what skills are in demand. Think about demographics, technology, and trends in the workplace and where they'll be five, ten, and twenty years from now. I think you'll find that something useful and practical, like nursing, accounting, engineering, and computers (hardware, networking, etc.) are going to be the best bets if you're looking for a field of study that will lead to employment. Don't discount the idea of skipping college in favor of trade school. Learning auto mechanics, electricity, plumbing, or heating/cooling/refrigeration, will not only lead to a job sooner, but is almost impossible to outsource to India.
  3. This is a Canadian career planning site which may be useful as to the "what" you might want to be. There may be useful websites in your country as well (perhaps a gov site). http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/en/gateways/individuals/cluster/cp.shtml
  4. this is a very informative website with lots of valuable info on it http://online.onetcenter.org/ You can spend a lot of time on it, gives you demographic, future need for a specific career, whats in demand, yrly salary for a position, gives you the definition of various positions. Check it out it is sweet!!!
  5. there are too many careers for us to do your homework for you. You really should do some research on your own. Or give us more info on your hobbies & interests and what you like doing.
  6. This is the Washington state employment office web site it has that information and a aptitude test that can help in your decision making process. There is a link on the left side of the page that is titled "career" fallow that to the tests and other links to research your results. It is a government site so there is not hidden fees or tracking. Good luck in your decision
