- Why not try the hairdressing thing then? If that is what you want to do! Mind you It's a hard job and you're always on your feet, alos you dont get paid well!
- If you're really into the hair thing then go for it. Here's a money making suggestion. How about Laser technician? You can work at a spa and do that. It's really booming. Women and Men are getting unwanted hair zapped off every single day. It's a real money making and tip making job market. Good luck with whatever you choose.
- Well good luck if you want to get into hairdressing, my 16yr old has been to interviews, with no luck, they say there are so many wanting hairdressing this year.
- I don't know how old you are now......but a career is going to last maybe a couple of decades. So whatever you do make sure it is something you enjoy and have an offiliation with. Otherwise it will turn into a mundane job you've had for 20 years. Good luck, I hope you find your niche
- Another waste of my tax wasted on today's youth! 2 is spelt two! Try working with the elderly or sick,it might make you appreciate what you have been given.Still looking for freebees I see,no doubt it will be council housing next!Sorry to be so grumpy, but I would love to have been given the chances the young today have and just throw away.
- www.careercruising.com there's a quizthingy that tells you what career you are best suited for based on your likes and dislikes. I hope it helps.
- I would honestly think about the reason why you studied business admin, actually in the first place. Maybe get a job as a salon receptionist for a while, to see if the hair and beauty industry is really for you. If your there 6 months and still feeling strong about learning this trade, your employer may actually consider to train you up as a stylist.
- I find it helpful to write a list of all the things i DON'T want in a job. If you wanna do hairdressing but love to go out friday night you're gonna be rough as hell on saturday morning every weekend ! Me personally, I wanted to be an Aerospace engineer. This i achieved but i absolutely hated working shifts(missed my fiancee), hated doing the repetetive bits(bored sh**less) etc so i found something within that sector that i did enjoy then went to college at night. Got the qualifications and after 6 years of looking got a job doing what i enjoyed. Moral of the story: It takes a long time for most people to find out what they wanna do and do it. Hard work, patience and commitment is usually the only route. Oh, and don't do anything because it pays well. Do it because you enjoy it. If you put the time in to something you love the money comes anyway but your not focused on that. Most people today do not understand this which is why they are all in jobs they hate. Think about it !
