career test? Can anyone give me a site for taking tests to find out what type of careers you would like to have (based on personality and what you like to do). Books would help too. You'd think that it would be so simple to decide what you want to be when you grow up but I've been having doubts about mine so I need to come up with a back up plan.

How hard is the Pharmacy board test? I plan on pursuing a career in Pharmacist but im scared that I will graduate but can't pass the board exam, can someone plz give me sum feedback about the test?????
Are there any good, free online career placement tests? Anything that might help give ideas for a career.? I'm about to graduate with an English BA, and am planning for my MA. I would love to get into Editing, but also have an interest in areas like psychology and sociology. Working full time and school f/t (for family, no less) has made it hard to do any type of internships that might help with a career in editing, so I'm not sure if it is practical to pursue that type of career with no experience to back up my degree. Since I already know my interests and strengths, I'm looking for help on deciding where to apply them, career wise.
If I pass the US Foreign Service test. where will I be sent initially? In December I plan to take the test (my application was approved!). I am wondering if I pass it, where do they place you initially? I am assuming State side for awhile for some training. Also, after the initial training - if this is the case - what areas can I expect to be deployed as a new recruit? I am assuming if it is not State- side possibly Europe or South America? I am also assuming they will not put me in the Middle East or an at risk country (Iraq, Afghanistan, Congo, etc...). I would greatly appreciate hearing from someone who is a current foreign service officer or an X FSO. BTW, I registered for the Consular career track. Thanks.
does anybody think its not the right time to start a Real Estate Sales career? Really need help with starting a career as a pilot? here's the deal, I am 16 and want to know how I can get a job as a pilot asap. I did want to double major in physics and math, get a career there, but my family is too selfish and nonsupporting for that to be possible. Anyway, since that isn't I am trying to plan out my second career choice, one as a pilot. Here is what I know so far. I need: Private pilot license (after 40+ hours of flight training, health exam, written test passed) Instrument rating Commercial rating I really don't know any details, or where I could get a job as a pilot. If anyone knows a lot about this, would you mind if I emailed you with any more questions? Thanks
Which is the better career: becoming a school counseler or a school psychologist? I'm interested in pursuing a career in counseling in grade school or secondary school, but am not sure whether I should be looking at a school psychology program or a school counseling program. I'm hoping that I can find a job in which I'm able to spend a reasonable amount of time working with kids on issues, problem solving, creating action plans, etc. and not solely focusing on testing. Any insight from those who have jobs in this field (or who are in graduate school in this area) would be appreciated. Also, details about what a "day in the life" looks like would be really helpful, too.

High School/College planning help? In the 9th grade? Im in the 9th grade, (next year), and i want to do some research on some books i need to read or things i need to do in high school and college. Do you know any links to websites that have careers tests, high school required books to read, or free planning kits and stuff?
How can I improve my essay? My first college essay is due tomorrow and I am willing to take any advice that it will improve it. The essay is for a class for freshmen. We were assigned to a take a test that it is supposed tell you your personal stregnths and write an essay reflecting on it. So here is my essay: Reflection Paper 1: My Strengths We all have strengths as well weaknesses, but too often we dwell on are weaknesses rather than build on our personal strengths. A reason for identifying our personal strengths is to make better decisions, handling stress, developing better study skills, joining clubs, and choosing a major, all issues we have to deal with as freshmen in college. Once we recognize these strengths we can achieve success not only in college, but in all areas of our lives. After taking the strengths quest test it became conscious to me of the many skills I obtain. My results were Restorative: being adept at dealing with problems, Responsibility: taking psychological ownership of what I say I will do, Analytical: searching for reasons and causes, Adaptability: preferring to “go with the flow”, and Relator: enjoying close relationships with others. In the brief descriptions for all of my themes I found many phrases to strongly to describe my personality. For example the Restorative theme describes that “It is a wonderful feeling to identify the undermining factors, eradicate them and restore something to its true glory “ this is true for me because I challenge myself often with difficult problems that I feel almost burdened to resolve, so it is a relief when I disentangle the problem. This theme correlates with the Analytical theme which describes someone with this theme as: “You peel the layers back until, gradually, the root cause is revealed”, this is true for me because I enjoy this part of problem solving. “Whether large are small, you feel emotionally bound to follow it through to completion”; a description of someone with the Responsibility theme ,which is true for me because integrity is something I value and I feel required to fulfill my duties, but I often feel bound to keep my good reputation. One theme I am unsure about is the Relator theme. A person with this theme is described as not shying away from meeting new people and enjoy turning strangers into friends and I don’ t think these qualities quite illustrate my personality . I have always considered myself as private and reserved that takes a significant amount of time to form relationships, so to be one of my themes was bit of a surprise. A theme of mine that I once considered negative was Adaptability. Someone with this theme is portrayed as enjoys living in the moment and has an easy going attitude; my mother would describe this as being lackadaisical. But, now I can use this as strength. People with this are able to expect the unexpected and remain calm under strength. Now that I realize this strength I can apply it to my life. Now that my strengths are recognized I am able to use them to face the challenges and rewards of being a freshman. One challenge many freshmen face is choosing a major. I can use the Relator theme to talk with mentors about career planning. I can research different careers that incorporate all 5 themes. In college developing good study habits is extremely important. Since there is always room for improvement, I am able to use the Adaptability theme because I am flexible and capable of remaining calm under stress. With the Analytical theme I naturally dissect ideas and examine them carefully, which can be used as a tool in study sessions. In terms of extracurricular activites, I can use the Relator and Responsibility themes in organizing or joining a club to build relationships and also do humanitarian work with an organization that shares the same values as I do. I can also utilize my analytical skills by joining a debate team. Identifying one’s personal strengths should be encouraged. These strengths can be utilized to contribute to one’s personal and spiritual life. Not only can we utilize our strengths, but build on our existing strong points.
im 20 and i dont know what i want to do with the rest of my life.? im in college and i still dont know what i want as a career. keep in mind, my parents come from a background where they think the only worthwhile jobs are REALLY high-paying ones. im not extremely smart. i have no passions that i know of (i mean, i LIKE certain things, but LOVE? i dont know...) is this okay? how do i find out what i should do with the rest of my life? (ps: i took a career aptitude test, ehh...) and im planning on becoming a global economics major although i dont know where that would get me. im screwed.
How to start get a Administration job with no experience? I took a career test and they suggested that I pursue a career in administration. I am currently doing cna and I don't plan to go to school as a nurse. So basically I want out of the medical field. Does anybody know of any temp services that are good in Milwaukee to get the experience I need?
What do to with my life/career? How is it that people can figure out what to do with their lives? I am currently in grad school for psychology, but I am having doubts about whether its really what I want to do I don't have interest in being a counselor or psychiatrist, and was planning on pursuing a research related career, but the more I think about it, the less I want to spend the rest of my life writing papers. And psychologists don't really get paid that well. I thought about careers in the medical field, but I am not sure if I want that either. I feel like I need to figure things out, but I just can't. I've taken some of those career tests, but none of that really tells me anything. I feel like I am wasting time with everything. I am in school right now, my schedule is pretty set, so its not like I can take classes on the side or anything. Anyone have any advice on how they figured out what they wanted to do?
What are the requirements of a software tester? I am planning to pursue a career in software testing. I want your advice on what tools to study for a bright future in that line and if its ok that I dont have any computer background but I am a computer literate. Is there any software or language that i have to equip myself with to shine as a QA analyst.
Librarians: is it a good career? Hi everyone (long post, sorry): I'm considering going for a MLS. Before I waste some more tuition money (I have a BA fashion design which DID NOT pay off to do), I'd like to find out from current or former librarians if this is a wise career path. Basically I'm not qualified to do much more than fashion/jewelry jobs (can't even get a stinkin' clerical job!), and a MLS or law degree seems like the only masters which don't require specific bachelors majors. If you know of other Masters programs that don't want specific Bachelors majors I'm all ears (I don't want a MBA). I think I enjoy finding out info for people and researching (I do Yahoo Answers a lot and enjoy it), so librarianship sounds like a match. I also got high scores in Classification on a career test. My questions are: *How easy is it to find a librarian position after the MLS? (I plan on doing internships during school to increase my chances. That didn't seem to effect my fashion prospects for some reason, though. I just kept getting offered internships after graduation!) *Is it necessary to be geographically mobile to find and keep jobs? (one thing I hated about fashion was you must live in NYC or LA for work) *I hear the upcoming retirement of many librarians is going to open up a lot more jobs, do you think there's enough new grads already to fill these jobs? It seems MLS programs are popular now... *How stressful or inflexible are the job tasks/environment/co-workers? *Are you happy with the salary and career? *What skills are needed to be a good candidate? I'm interested in hearing from librarians of all sorts, but I'm mostly interested in school or academic librarianship right now (open to other ones too) many thanks all!
Performance testing as a career! please help.? I am planning to put forward a proposal to invite people to learn performance testing in a self study group (along with me), But i do not know how to inspire people to join me, Please help me if you have any kind of information that would make my team aware of the career scope of a performance tester. Thanks in advance.
How can I find out if a career in biology is right for me? I am struggling with my current career in education and am interested in doing something more technical, hands on and removed from a lot of people. I loved biology as a child and did plan on becoming a doctor, but now, with a BA in psychology and an MA in early childhood and special education I find myself unfulfilled. I've been looking at a number of careers and they are all in the medical - healing area. I'd like to do something in biology (except teach) but I do not know if I can take another 2 years or more in school. The career tests I have taken do not really suggest anything remotely interesting. Can anyone give me a list of possible careers I can look into that are biology related (but NOT teaching or being a doctor or nurse)? Or maybe you are working in the field and enjoy what you do and can pass some info along? Thanks for your serious replies. I'd like to hear from someone who is working in biology who can provide a brief description of what they do. Thanks for the list though
someone should come out with a test with trick questions, to detect draft busts? There are draft busts in all four major sports here in the U.S. (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL). They aren't all caused by injury, or maybe the team's offensive and/or defensive scheme's aren't a good fit. I believe there are people out there in high school and college, who have it planned out that they want to get into the big leagues, get a contract, get hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of dollars, but they don't really wanna do sports as their career in life. They wanna be lazy, fake an injury, or act foolish, and get themselves cut from the team. They still keep the money for the year or two they played. They live like kings! Teams should come out with some sort of test, with trick questions, to detect potential busts. I applied for jobs where they gave me trick questions, to test my morals, and to see how intelligent i am. Perhaps sports teams out there could do the same, to help find out who the potential busts are, and avoid even dealing with them.
I need help with my "Career Plan" based on interest? I'm 14 years old turning 15 in 22 days. I still haven't thought about a career choice for college. My interests are technology, art, and music. Technology would have to be my best interest, my interest for technology would have to be hacking and modding devices such as the PSP or iPod. I'm also a 105 WPM typist. I've been into art since I was a kid, i've been into urban art and graffiti. Music would have to be my least skillful interest, but I still have a passion to master it [currently play Piano and ukulele by ear] and i'm really trying to get vocal lessons, but I can't read notes. My question is, based on my level of my interests, what would be the perfect career path for my choice. Most likely it would have to deal with technology.. but I hardly know anything about careers and the types of categories. And those aptitude tests AREN'T working for me. Unless you know a legit, accurate one. :/
How do I become a guidance counselor? I think, if my other plans dont work out, I want to become a guidance counsler. I have been told that i give good advice and am good at helping people out with their plans and goals. I would want to just do high school, to help with college planning and examining test scores and the types of students. I dont know if I would want to deal with a lot of emotional stuff, I may be better at it when I am older. But what type of school do you go to and what type of education is necessary? What are some specific majors in the field that would take me directly to that career? Thanks.
Given the risk of being a chiropractor- Am I on the right track to becoming a successful chiropractor? I really want to be a chiropractor and have more advantage than 99% of my classmates: #1) I dont have any student loans-so I can pay for school in cash--my dad is paying for everything, #2) I have been career tested over and over again and chiropractic seems to be the top choice always (along with shadowing chiropractors--I love it and it just feels right , and #3) I plan on getting certified in all these therapies while I am in school and a year after graduation: 1) Acupuncture-Year 2 2) Certified Clinical Nutritionist-Year 3 3) Bowen Therapy-Finished 4) Active Release Therapy-year 3 5) Gradston Technique-through electives 6) Cranio Sacral Therapy- electives in school 7) Applied Kinesiology 8) Certified Physiotherapist - Year 2 9) Chiropractic Sports Orthopendist- After Graduation 10) Manipulation Under Anestesia (MUA) -After grad
Is this career plan for the Navy correct, or is it riddled with errors? 1. Get out of college with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. 2. Train my ass off (see my other question). 3. Pass the Recruit Training Command place. 4. Become an Aviation Structural Mechanic. 5. Apply for the training required for the Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist badge. 6. Get the badge. 7. That's practically my life. A few questions. I have tried to find answers, but to no avail, so... 1. If you have a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and have one year of exp. can you just take a test on the Aviation SM, and pass it instead of going to A school? 2. What do they mean by "pernamently stationed at a command"? 3. Do you have to get a rating in the Navy? For example, skipping the Aviation SM part and going on straight to combat? Another example, telling the recruiter that you want to be assigned at Maritime securtiy. 4. What is a good website detailing combat jobs in the Navy, becuase the Navy website only shows technical, stuff like that ratings. Thank you.
so what do you think of my college essay? 1. How have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities you have had to prepare for college? Over the course of my years in high school my main goal has been to excel in my academics, to get involved in activities that would aid me in understanding my classes, and to take advantage of the electives offered at my school to help my determine future career plans. To reach my full potential in my classes and tests, I took part in tutoring classes over the weekend to improve my math scores, which I must admit, is one of my weaker subjects. The extra tutelage, however, has helped me immensely in developing my skills in mathematics, which is now reflected in my test scores. This year, my government class gave me the opportunity to work at the polls in the gubernatorial elections. I gladly took the chance, and by the end of the day, left with a greater understanding of how our state government operates. The opportunity that I have gotten the most out of has been my choice of electives - namely psychology and anatomy. Through them, I have realized that my main interests lies in people and the sciences, subjects that I would definitely pursue in the future. here's the thing, i actually CAN write pretty well, but it doesn't show in my essay because i don't have very much to talk about regarding the question.. i'm stuck in a rut =\ any critiques/suggested revisions would be very helpful... thank you in advance!

Best book to prepare your "not going to college" child to "college bound"? I have a 14 & 15 year old and I know it's late but I'd like to dedicate their last years of school preparing them for college. Is there a phase by phase book or online website I could refer to? I just need to know what they should know at each grade level, how to strengthen their weak areas, how to motivate so they will want to excel, how to find out what they're insterested in (career tests?), activities to keep their brain sharp, exercises/tests I can use to teach them...basically how to raise smart kids. Anything that could give me step by step advice that I could plan out each day/week would be great. Patricularly, my son is not that interested in college but I think with a little guidance, he would change his mind. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any and all advice!

Which job should I choose while I make a career change? I'm in the process of changing careers from city planner to holistic health care and I plan on starting with massage therapy. I'm making this change because my personality type just does not work well in a business office environment. After taking a few personality/career assessment tests I've determined that I should be in a career where I can work one-on-one with people who need physical and/or physical care. I still need to make money while I transition. However, I'm staying with my mom while I go back to school so I don't have to pay many bills. My job options are 1) Do some short-term/high-paying work for FEMA where I could save money before going back to school full-time and then get a part-time job, while I'm in school, doing something related to my interests. Or 2) work for the Fed government full-time while going to school full-time at night. Which, sounds terrible to me but then again I'd have steady pay and good benefits (but when would I sleep or study?).

How should I got about my nursing career, please read, thanks in advance for any advise.? I've been admitted to the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and i planned on going there until i did some research and found out that's better just to go to community college and become an RN and then later pursue my bsn and ms with financial help of the hospital that i'll work for, which in most cases they'd cover most of the tuition. Since Im out of state total cost woul be around 40k per year if i went to University of Pittsburgh but because of my high GPA and test scores (3.8,2150 SAT) i've received scholarships that take care of virtually all tuition ,i'd just have to pay about $10,500 per year in loans for room, board, and books. So should I go to the University and get my BSN or should i just go straight for the RN at the community college, which would be absolutely free in fact i'd get money back every semester, work for about a year and then go and get my bsn. In either case i plan on getting a masters later in Nursing, business, or education, and more than likely my PhD
What is the fastest way to earn a masters or docterate while working at the same to pay for college? I have yet to decide what career I wish to follow but plan to support myself and would prefer to not have to take out a student loan. health (healing and recovering from long term effects of autoimmune disorder) and MOSTLY family situations (parents retiring and need my help) being unpredictable sometimes I won't have a guarantee at a routine to keep up with regular classes. Some of the more general classes I know I can test at the beginning of a semester and pass without having to attend a class I finished highschool doing that to graduate on time after being sick from gastroporesis(4.0 G.P.A. ;D). More specifically though I thought if perhaps I studied for the classes I can test for pass them and do the rest mostly online all year long (which can sometimes be less scedule restricting) I could do work and studying the rest of my time. I'm 20 & hear it takes 7-10 years to get this level of education so the sooner I can start the better.

UCLA good for architecture or engineering? Do I have a good chance at that college? Is UCLA a good college for Architecture or Engineering. I really want to go to UCLA because a lot of my relatives go there and they say its great. I'm not sure if I can go there now because I've been mostly getting A's and B's and I heard most UCLA students were 4.0 gpa students their whole life. My GPA is usually around the 3.5 range. I do play tennis, but I'm not in the team yet. I am currently taking Algebra 2 in sophmore year and I plan to take summer math courses to work my way up to calculus my senior year. If I do get into calculus, will it raise my chance in becoming accepted to UCLA and become successful in an architecture career. Sorry for making this so long >.<, starting to worry about college after getting a couple of B's on math tests because I'm planning to get straight A's throughout the rest of my highschool years.

Which is the best for Software/System Engineer career? I am thinking MCSD/MCAD. Could anyone give any good advise, please? Java certificate? CCNA certificate? If you choose MCSD/MCAD, why? Good potential in career advancement? By the way, I am living in Singapore.
Personal Beliefs Vs. Career choice? I am a vegetarian and I have been one for almost two years, and I plan on being one for the rest of my life. I'll admit that in the beginning the reason I became a vegetarian was not for animal rights, but for health reasons. Now that I have learned more about the horrors that innocent animals face everyday, like being taken away from their families, living under horrible conditions, suffering abuse and then eventual death in slaughter houses; It has made me question my future career choice. Ever since I was little I have been in the kitchen, and I plan on taking up a career in the that field; I haven't decided if I'll specialize in one specific area, yet I would like to be knowledgeable in all areas of cooking. The only problem is that I don't want to work with meat and if I have to cook a dish that has meat in it, or taste test that dish in order to complete a requiered class in order to earn my degree. I wouldn't want to and I was wondering if there is anyway I could get around it?
Doing variation of stroop test but one set of words are colour related and the others are colour neutral e.g? condition 1 has 30 words some are, SKY in red, PLUM in orange, LEMON in blue, CARROT in purple BLOOD in blue condition 2 has 30 words some are STY in red, PLAN in orange LEDGE in green, CAREER in purple BLAME inred Ihave done the original stroop test but as both sets of words are coloured I need to find a suitable hypothesis and some research on this variation. The words are all repeated in different colours for each condition, and participants have to be timed obviously for both conditions and one set of words are colour related and the others colour neutral. How does this relate to the stroop test and can u help me find any research done on this variation. Please help
I need some help with a career change into the finance world...? Hi everyone -- I'm a M.S. Student in Aerospace Engineering, but have decided that working as an engineer after I graduate doesn't interest me nearly as much as working in the finance world. More specifically as an investment banking analyst or stock analyst. I have been doing a lot to learn about the financial world, like reading the WSJ everyday, reading about what careers in the finance industry are like, talking with friends & mentors, taking personality tests, and enrolling in finance & business plan courses. However, it's difficult to get a job in the industry at this stage, just because I AM an engineer...and don't know much past the basics of financial statements, etc. Can you give me some advice? Or some resources as to go about making this career change easier and more successful?
Could this be shyness? This girl who I like in my class is 31 years old, I am 23. My question is if this girl looks out of the very corner of her eyes at me during class, sits with me and goes over the test results after the test, ask questions about family and career plans. She stays nervous, poping pins, playing with her hair and stuff. To the shy questions: This girl the other day, started reading my paper for class, and made a comment on something wrong I did. I have asked her to study with me twice, but she was busy. When she is called on in class. she will look over at me blushing, as she states her answer. I do not know if this is related to her interest, but when the teacher asked her why she was in college, she omething about supporting herself looking at me. Could these be interest signs. Could the age difference, be why she is saying no to studying. I really like this girl, but do not want to look bad if she does not feel the same. PLEASE HELP ME HERE!!!
How do I become a test only smog technician in California? I have no interest in repairing cars, just doing the smog test.I have been to a few smog test only stations and it seems like a very simple career once you have the training. Do I need a ASE certification? I hope that I can skip the ASE. INTERN TECHNICIAN LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience To qualify for the Intern Technician license, the applicant must have one year experience and/or education in the engine performance area, and have completed the Bureau of Automotive Repair’s Basic Clean Air Car Course within the last 12 months. I plan to go to a trade school for a year full time to get this. Is it possible for me to pass this in one year when I have no experience with cars? Will it be hard to find a job with just a intern license and no real job experience at a test only station if I am willing to work for any salary? Will smog techs always be a in demand job at a test only shop? BASIC AREA TECHNICIAN LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience To qualify to take the examination, the applicant must meet one of the following requirements: 1. Possess a valid unexpired Intern Technician license and have one year experience as an Intern Technician; OR 2. Have one year of automotive experience and/or education in the engine performance area, and have completed the Bureau’s Basic Clean Air Car Course within the last 12 months; OR 3. Possess an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or higher degree in Automotive Technology from a state-accredited or recognized college, public school, or trade school AND have successfully completed the Bureau of Automotive Repair’s Basic Clean Air Car Course within the last 12 months; OR 4. Possess a certificate in Automotive Technology from a state-accredited or recognized college, public school, or trade school with a minimum of 360 hours of coursework in the engine performance area, AND have successfully completed the Bureau of Automotive Repair’s Basic Clean Air Car Course within the last 12 months. If you look at the Education/Experience that is required for the Intern Technician License, it is the same as the Education/Experience that is required for the Basic Area Technician License. #2.Have one year of automotive experience and/or education in the engine performance area, and have completed the Bureau’s Basic Clean Air Car Course within the last 12 months; I will have 1 year of education in the engine performance area, and have completed the Bureau’s Basic Clean Air Car Course within the last 12 months. So I would have both of these requirements completed before I even take the Intern Test? Did I understand all that right? How much does a BASIC AREA TECHNICIAN earn per hour at a smog test only shop? How much does a ADVANCED EMISSION TECHNICIAN earn per hour at a smog test only shop? Are these jobs easy to get and always hiring? I thank all of you for your help and time. Dan It doesn't say anywhere that it requires ASE. You can say it may be better overall to know it.To say that will prevent me from being sued I disagree. I think the reality is it would make no difference.I will assume for anyone to pass the BASIC AREA TECHNICIAN LICENSE that they could work at a smog test only shop.In my own personal experience at a smog test only shop when my car did not pass all they told me was to get it repaired somewhere else.I thank you for your advice but I FM g but I don't believe you.If you have some proof that could happen then I would be thankful.
ASVAB Test? In the near future I plan on enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Port Security Specialist (PS). This job is only available to reservists. My question is - If I take the ASVAB test and I happen to do bad on it - does that mean I'm screwed and I have to take whatever job they want me to? Am I already committed to a service in the Coast Guard by the time I take the ASVAB test? - I ask this because the only reason I want to join the Coast Guard is because it will be good experience for my future career in Law Enforcement - and if I do not get to enlist as a Port Security Specialist, my reason for being there is non-existent. Thanks and God bless, -Sonny

Does she like me? Could these be signs of attraction. As stated in my last post, this girl in my college class was staring at my crotch. Also, she had been asking questions about my family, career plans, and some others. She also, has told me some on her family and plans. The other day, she was sitting next to me acedently bumping my leg with her foot. When she gets embarresed, over saying something in in class, she will look straight at me blushing. Also, she pops on a highlighter until I look in her direction. It was funny, on a test the other day, I looked over and she was on about answer 30 of 50, when I was turning my test in, within 1 min she was already out side the room coming to sit next to me on the coutch to check over what she missed with me. The last thing is, she is 7 years older than me, and has told me that she is single with no kids, do you think that the age would matter? What should I do?

I have a question for you all that could ultimately decide my career path, please answer with seriousness.? Alright let me start it off with a little background information: I just graduated high school and am now currently going to community college. I decided to go there not because i couldn't get into a university, in fact, i could have got into an ivy league school if i wanted to, but i decided to go the thrifty way by saving money and giving myself a chance to decide what career path i would like to take. So far, a few weeks have passed and pretty much all my classes, which are thought to be rigorous classes, are cake, just easy assingnments and easy tests. I like it a lot here because i don't have to be stressed out all the time like i was in high school. Now my original goal path was to become a lawyer by collecting cheap undergrad credits and then transferring to a competitive school, then going to law school, it still is the plan, but i just had a revelation about something i didn't forsee. Alright now right about here is about the time i discuss the issue that i'm currently dealing with. The thing I didn’t realize is that I’m not going to have money at all for law school and there could be a high probability that I don’t get a good job right away. I mean, I know they’re scholarships and everything, but those are never a certainty. And now I have to find a fallback plan. The tentative fallback plan was to go to a two year vocational school to become an x-ray technician. But now, I want to become an x-ray technician before continuing my undergrad schooling for credits so that I can make large amounts of money to pay for law school and pay for the essentials. But now my plan doesn’t seem at all feasible because of all the schooling and I’m going to obviously need time to study for classes while actually being an x ray technician. What is your suggestion that I do?

How should I talk my boyfriend into getting plans for the future? I asked my boyfriend what his future plans are, like going to college, and career plans.... he told me that he doesn't have any... he's almost eighteen and is a senior in highschool. How should I get him to think about future plans, and ideas... I really want him to get a job. O and how do I talk him into getting his drivers liscence?... (he didn't pass the written test the 1st time and hasn't bothered to try to take it again). What should I do to talk him into doing this stuff? I love him so much so I'll wait for him to find his future... anyways... he told me he wants to go into technology... but he wants to wait for me to graduate high school so that we can go off to college together, but he doesn't have a job or a driver's liscence yet...

10 Points Anyone? There is this girl in my college class who is 7 years older than I am. The only reason I post this question is to see what signs someone who is 30 might show of interest. This girl in my class always picks me to read along with when she forgets her book. Also, when studing with her the other day one on one, in which she requested for us to meet at the libray the day after class, she started asking some personal questions like: Do you have any siblings. What are your career plans and others I ask her if she had any kids, and she said NO! I am not even married Plus she is always is "accidentally" bumping into my leg and foot during class. I have heard that women will sit with there legs crossed towards a person they like leaning towards them, she does. I am not sure that this is a sign though, is it? After our big test. I was outside the classroom on a couch. Anyway, she comes and sits right next to me a a two person couch, not across at the other couch. Signs of attraction? What should I do?
