"Online" Clinical Psychology Degree? I am interested in becoming a clinical psychologist and while i doubt i will do it online (there is a university not too far that would fit me perfectly), i do wonder about people's perception of earning a PsyD in clinical psychology online. I have read a lot of questions and answers about people taking the online route, usually at Capella or Walden, and many of the responders always say "you can't learn clinical psychology online! It is too hands on of a career to learn it online. There is no way you could do it" and so forth. However, i often wonder, when people make such statements about clinical programs online, like Capella, do they realize it is mostly in person training? I actually know someone who earned their PsyD from Capella in clinical and we figured out he spent only about 35-40% of his time "online", the rest of his training was in person. Do most realize this about online psychology doctorates or is there blind discrimination for them?

training to be an ultrasound technician.? i want to pursue a career as an ultrasound tech. how would i come about this? there are schools who require prerequisites so can i just go to a community college and get them then enroll in a DMS program or should i do some training in the medical field? it would really help if someone in the field or studying this career could answer this. what steps did you take? could you give me advice and ideas? i only have my high school diploma and alot of schools require a degree. since where i live doesn't have any DMS training around me should i just take online classes? pros and cons?

Starting a new career in IT - advice? I have a business degree and a CPA license but don't really want to pursue that line of work directly any more. Also have a few years experience in teaching and training. What I'm looking for is some kind of IT career that will allow me to be independent. What kind of career options in the IT world would you recommend? I've heard from some people that web design is a cut throat business these days and hard to make a living from unless you are one of the elite. I think with my background I might be best suited to some kind of Analysis role but don't really know how to get started on that route. What kind of technical qualifications are needed? Professional Photographers: How can I get valuable training without attending Photography School? Photography has been a hobby of mine for the last few years. People often tell me I should pursue this as a career and I feel the same. I'm 27 so I'm definitelty NOT just starting out in life. I'm very unhappy with my current job but feel at times it's to late for me to attend a Photography School not to mention the time it will take to complete the course (2 years). I do have a family so this would be very difficult to achieve. Are there any online classes that anyone knows about that trains you in lighting and other general areas? Dog training,dog grooming career questions? hey i like to understand more about dog training. im thinking of applying school online for dog training, but is it any good? i love animals and would like to have a career involving them. Multiple websites. Could it possibly be fraudulent activity? I've found a educational scam that has multiple versions of the same website online. The only difference is that this supposed institution changes it's name on each site, the address and phone number is the same though. Is there a way I can get these sites taken down so a lot of people don't lose money to this program? I really believe this offer is fraudulent. It was advertised to me as Columbia Career Institute with a link to a USA Today article, but after finding those other sites I'm leery. These are the sites.
