Can anyone help me with deciding a career? I am asking for help from anyone who can help guide me to the best possible career for me. I want to find an online college that offers an associates degree in health and nutrition for children. I want to go work for my local Children's Medical Center, or If I can't get there, then I want to work with children. Children make me happy and they make me laugh. Having a career working with them would make my life less stressful and I hope I can make a really good living by doing that. I have looked and looked for online colleges, and haven't seen any that offer associate degrees in wellness and nutrition(or health). I have seen respiratory,occupational,and physical therapist assistant degrees, but I am afraid those are hard to understand careers. How do you know which career path to take? How do you figure out what you want to do in the future? Right now I'm in 10th grade and I'm so confused about what to do. I've taken a bunch of quizzes online but I don't know if I should be listening to quizzes... When I was younger, I wanted to become a singer, dancer or an actor. But now I think I'm too shy. I wanted to be an artist but my mom isn't supportive of that and it's difficult for artists nowadays to make a living...and my art isn't unique or anything. Lawyer... I'm not really good at reasoning. Doctor....my mom's always encouraging me to work in the health field but Health seems so boring. Sure I want to help people, but a lot of people want to go into that field and I want to be different. Point is, I think find a flaw in every career. What should I do? Should I take more quizzes or get career counseling? Should I wait a few more years? Any ideas? Thanks

where to get a online counselling regarding careers, i need to ask some questions and need answers personally. hi, i'm a doctor[m.b.b.s],but i like management, atpresent i'm helping my friend in recruiting &material management[he owns a multispeciality hospital 1000 bedded he is my classmate in ug]my father wants me to join p.g[clinical]for the sake of future competition, but my friend wants me to do M.B.A hospital management, he only brought out the managing abilities within me, but i'm in a dilemma to choose an option anyhow i have 8 more months to decide for joining p.g so i wish i could taste a bit of management in these period.now i'm working with my friend as an unpaid manager, my friend is in a confusion of selecting a designation for me ,b'cos u know we can't create some posts in a well established setup all of a sudden , he asks me many time whether i need commision in material purchasing , i've refused it b'cos of my sentiments.now he asks me to wait for another week for an appointment. kindly give ur suggestion immediately
If I take online classes now, can I change my mind later and actually go? I want to take online classes right now, to keep my job. Later on I might want to actually start going. what kind of career does not require a college degree? I should provide more details to narrow down what I want for a career. I like to be in control and be my own boss. I don't like to be pushed around by anyone. I'm no good with math or money so trading or stocks online probably won't be good for me. Help with career/college path? I'm a junior in HS and I 'm thinking about college and what I may be interested in studying. However, I don't know what I want to do for a career. I've tried searching for online tests to see what I might be good at but haven't found many. It's difficult. I might be interested in medical, education, writing, counseling(mental health), something math related w/o science involved. Is there anything that could help me with my decision or any suggestions? Also, I'd like to be accepted into a UC(University of California) college preferably UC Davis or Santa Barbara. Is it really hard to get into one of those schools? I'm studying hard this year and did pretty well last year, but in my Freshman year I didn't have a good GPA. Could anyone give as much advice as they can about college to me? I want to get a head start. What should I know about Computer Information Systems-management? I decided to withdraw from graduate school(I was taking up Guidance and counseling) and pursue what I really wanted- Computer Information Systems-management. I am now looking to pursue my Master's in CIS-management but my BA was in Sociology. What skills or computer programs should I know? Is anyone here in college studying psychology? Okay I am attending University of Phoenix online and was wondering if I should get all my degrees in psychology or possibly maybe get my Master's in maybe Counseling.....Next year I get my Bachelors in Psychology, but my mom told me to not get my Master's and Ph.D. in psycholgy too.....any suggestions? I would really like some advice...? ...I am 35 and would love to pursue a career in Christian Counseling. I really like to help people and would like to do so, using God, Jesus etc. as my basis. Time to end my marriage? I was in love with a beautiful woman for 14 years. Unfortunately, I got caught up in a bad job, heavy workload, stress and an abusive boss. My hours slowly began to increase over a 2 year period and I had to travel around the world. Over the past year I worked 16 hour days plus weekend work, conference calls along with being tied to a blackberry. I was trapped and did not know how to get out of it. I nearly died from the workload and stress. We needed my paycheck to pay for private school, my wife’s compulsive shopping for stuff, home repairs and improvements, dogs, vet bills, dog walkers and so on. My wife has a part-time job and I gave her total control over our finances when my son was born 9 years ago. She said it was a trust issue. During this time we spent everything that I made. In addition, my wife wanted to be independent and have a balance between career and being a mom. My salary fronted 3 different business ventures for her that all failed and cost us tens of thousands over the years. I am ashamed of myself but under extreme stress I yelled at my son twice. I think I have yelled at him 5 times in 9 years. I also got close to my wife one day and raised my voice to her. I apologized later but she yelled at me for something and I don’t know what I was doing. I yelled at my wife maybe twice in our 13 years together. We used to kid each other about our families until one day she did not find it funny. I agreed we would not make fun of our families. Also, she said I made mean comments about them when in fact they were insensitive, they were not meant as mean. Things I said were “I wish I had time to go out for ice cream” My wife claims she tried to get me out of my crisis, I remember just her yelling at me that I am never home and I would reply with what can I do for now. I did try looking for another job but I had to maintain a level of income to pay for the above. I spoke to a counselor who told me my wife has underdeveloped coping skills. She did what she knew how to under stress. I am sure she thought I was having an affair or I did not love my family. In fact, I have never really bought myself anything over the years, never hung out or took weekends with the guys and even gave up watching sports to be with them. Even though I was controlled by my job I was still doing it out of love and to give them a better life. The counselor informed me that my wife had to invent some reason for her depression because of her lack of coping skills. She had to come up with the reasons within parameters that allowed her to develop a course of action. During this time she never got a babysitter to take me out of the house to talk to me. Did not offer to come to my job and have lunch to see my environment. Never tried to get her family to watch my child and take me away for a weekend to talk me out of my crisis. I can understand, she probably thought she would learn something she did not want to know. She did not even suggest we go to counseling before she unleashed hell on me. In June she started to talk to me about my relationship with my son. I heard her and was working towards winding down my workload. I did not know she was in crisis. Two months later she calmly told me how she “checked out”, she lost her best friend and I had to work my way back into their lives. I got this and understood that I had to take control back over my life. Unfortunately, it was too late and now we are in marriage counseling. My wife says it will not work because she can’t get past the fact that I was mean and she can’t understand under extreme stress, people can act out of character. My wife has a double standard, during our life together she struck me across the face twice. She has not done it since I warned her. While I was in my work frenzy she constantly yelled at our son and said, “You see how he is and you know why I yell”. She exhibits periods of road rage and even tried to run over an old man that stole her parking space. All excusable because sometimes you do get mad; but I can’t. The worse part, prior to her final conversation she plotted a specific course of action. She attempted to build a case and file a complaint against me as an abusive spouse. I dedicated my life to her and she tried to jeopardize my ability to see my son, future relationships and even potential employment. All because I worked myself into exhaustion and yelled at her once. When she could not get any independent parties to back this claim based on my actions she did something else. She posted an ad on the internet and began dating other men. After our talk and while I was working back into our relationship she was actively dating. Even in marriage counseling she was still dating. I found out by accident, she took time off from work, arranged for babysitters, tried to hook up while my son attended an event. I read all the emails. She slept with another man and I had to read all the details. She wrote terrible things about being married, that I was a violent man and that my son was a burden. Of course in between acting like a prostitute and just staying with me for the paycheck while she played the field. The married man she was involved with even offered to pay her for sex. She endangered the welfare of our child, she could have been stalked at home or beaten during one of her “meetings” and no one would know her whereabouts. Anyway, I forgave her and took responsibility for this saying I created the conditions. She never said she was sorry. It looked like we were getting back together, still going to counseling and I even flushed my career. I told my employer that I was moving my family back to her home state. That’s when things changed, for the past 6 weeks she has administered an extreme emotional and psychological beating on me. All under the guise of that I am mean and she is afraid of me. Am I really the mean one? We have never told the counselor about her actions and behaviors. My wife likes to ask for advice from an online organization. She never tells them what she has done. I found her latest email, 2 days after I flushed my career she wrote them that she does not like me and would not even date me. In our last session she basically said that she liked her life and I was security but she can’t get past my actions. She said she is afraid because she knows as a single mom she will start yelling at my son. I guess all I ever was to her is a paycheck. I have come to my senses and I am both sad and mad. I intend to issue an ultimatum this week that I know my wife will reject. I don’t think I love her anymore and can’t believe she killed feelings I had for her that lasted this long. I am afraid of her and ashamed at what she has done and tried to do to me. Am I crazy for trying to give her a last chance? I keep thinking that if she gets her act together our lives will be even better. Am I just stupid and hopelessly in love? I am also afraid of how she will treat our son as she tries to land her next sugar daddy. She will have a hard time finding another me. I am in the 30% club, never cheated, never took for myself and always thought of their needs first. Should I change when I start my new life?

How do I stop myself from calling/texting him? My divorce is set to be finalized next Tuesday. I was married about a year and a half to a man I thought was wonderful at first. We had so much fun together, he was going to be supportive of my career, blah blah blah. Turns out he immediately started going online to find "hookups". I later found out he was a serial cheater. He was also still hung up on his girlfriend from about 18 years ago (he is 39 now). After he immediately lost my trust, I became secretive and not open about anything and that bothered him greatly, but he continued to call old girlfriends and things like that. So, even after counseling, it is obvious that it needed to end. He is so selfish, though, and he gossips. I know he is spreading lies about me and even though he obviously still cares about me in his own sick way, he says "well, our relationship sucks" to try to distance himself from the pain of breaking up. He will call or text me and I answer even though I dont want to. I need tips on being stronger
3rd DUI (2nd in 2 yrs).. Plus Hit and Run? What is the name of your state? CA Charge 1: 20002(a) hit and run misdemeanor. Charge 2: California Vehicle Code [CVC] section 23152(a) Coming to congestion in a left hand turn lane at a stop light, tapped the car in front of me at 2 MPH. (other driver says 5 MPH). Driver said that he wanted to pull over, but I kept going. I kept driving and minding about my own business, thinking nothing of the event. Apparently the guy called in the plate. Police car pulls over at house. Questioned. Cuffed and booked outside my house for suspicion of DUI AND Hit and Run. Police report says no FST conducted, although there were, and perhaps the reason for custody and detainment. BAC reportedly refused, while 'officer induced confusion' transpired. I am 30 years old trying to establish a career. I am a failed entrepreneur who still lives at the home he was brought up in. I still have a nagging background check that is from 8 years ago. It is haunting; you always feel shameful sending resumes or even trying to make business connections to potential employers. Feels like someone is always looking over your back. I thought my alcohol issues were over, and they were for some time. (About 6 years) After 2 years of counseling and being on antidepressant medication, I stopped going because it was too costly. Commuted to college from home (17 mile commute) and had a prior at age 19 and 22. I was very boisterous in college and have calmed down since. This would be the 2nd DUI within 10 years. The damage was minor. I was not wearing glasses on at the time, and didn’t see any damage to the other vehicle. As I got the police photo, I saw the indentation of the license plate screw into the back bumper of the car. Upon obtaining Police Report, immediately sent apology-letter to the man who called in. I provided Insurance/information/etc. I am absolutely going to plea not guilty to the H&R, because I reasonably didn't see damage to vehicle. Defense: "mistake of fact" and also I was not wearing my eye glasses that I wear 99.9% of the time. Requesting Dry Reckless in lieu of DUI. Reasonable doubt as to being intoxicated. I believe that not having on my glasses was the main reason for the nudging of the car in front of me. I am nearsighted and almost ALWAYS wear my glasses. This must have been the first time in 5 years that I did not have my glasses with me. They were found 3 days later in my backyard. I’ve never been in accident in lifetime (14 years of driving). Currently trying to expunge record for past (10years) but I have yet to make the final touches to the documents before sending them in. While I still believe that the State has to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that I was intoxicated, I would be willing to plea to a non-DUI charge. There are some issues with false information that could be on the police report (a video could prove that, but also there is evidence that would work against me if video was introduced). A FST was conducted and failed, the one-legged stand on a hill with no shoes on (right in front of my house). It is believed that after this FST failure, that detainment happened right after, yet it is not noted on the police report. Also there were some issues with the interrogation procedure by police, with methods that are not constitutional but would be hard to prove, unless there was a whole Internal Affair Investigation conducted. So the prosecution should have 1) officer testimony and observation of "objective symptoms" 2) no FSTs marked or claimed 3) no BAC level 4) no comment about driving. They did claim that the car I drove "backed" into the patrol car's steel enforced front plow fender. (A MVS video would clear that up if it is true or not.) I feel that getting a DUI at such a young age a long time ago really had some major ill social and economic consequences. I gradually conditioned myself to be less and less social or outgoing over the years. Until recently I would use my car just to go to bookstores or libraries, rarely even driving at all. I have been pretty much a social recluse that spends most of his time on the internet, doing reading, researching etc. Now all of these are apparently not going to even be available if I am suspended for driving for 2 years. I am a failed entrepreneur, who now needs to look toward the other established public or private sector for a career. None of these potential careers or jobs will see a recent DUI as a positive. Even the stuff 10 years ago, still HAUNTS me to this very day- I’ve been paying the penalty on those things socially, economically, mentally, financially, physically, etc. They will never go away. At this point, this is ALL I am focusing on right now are these charges. I have been working on my defense for about a month now, and have over 105 pages of a WORD document that includes my perception, reasonable doubt, mitigating factors, inaccuracies, explanations, laws, DMV proceedings, objections, lawyers that I contacted, costs, motions, attorney website snippets that pertain to case I have also visited the department and the courthouse of the court I will be arraigned in on multiple occasions. I have taken notes on other plea bargains and proceedings, the characters: the judge, deputy D.A., city prosecutor, P.D., prominent lawyers whom are familiar from internet and solicitation material sent to immediately after. Wondering if getting some "face time" and experience with the proceedings could be beneficial. The day-to-day activity in the court room is an interesting little microcosm. I have attended a few AA meetings, in hopes that I can somehow use it as leverage that I realize any error that I may have done in the past and want to move forward. I also attend online meetings via the internet. My main objective is to achieve gainful employment and become a productive citizen and rejoin society. I have gained 2 part-time jobs since the incident, one a weekend job that has to do with catering private parties, and another part time job with my friend's internet company that requires me to send e-mails and make phone calls to various publishing suppliers. Innocent until proven guilty. Would like any insights or advice if possible. Wondering what the best possible strategy would be, considering the arraignment date is approaching. My initial plan is to bring with me all of the 105+ pages of documentation and explanation of the events as I see them, and possible resolutions to this situation. I would not hand over all of my writings, as some may be not relevant or needed, but I would show that I am serious to put this event past me. When talking to the Deputy DA (I have already seen her in action while doing some research at the court room) or P.D. , I plan to tell her my situation, a brief history, my attempt to contact the other party in the 20002(a) and letter, and maybe even some of the points or reasons as to the reasonable doubt or evidence that the state has for these charges. My initial stance would be that I have a tall order to ask, and that I hope that the state can drop all criminal charges. I will explain to her that the police report may look bad, and the factors that there is a prior, there is an alleged refusal, and there is minor damage to another car, but these variables do have reasonable explanations, and my willingness to put this incident behind me and produce a net positive result for myself as an individual as well as a net positive for society, the people, and the state. In other matters, from the research I have done on the DMV hearing, which will take place prior to the criminal arraignment, I hope to prove that the alleged refusal was false, there was officer induced confusion, inadequate admonition by the transporting officers (different from arresting officer), and that I have prepared the proper objections so that they can appear in the transcript and not waived automatically. I will also provide the list of 15 lawyers and legal firms that I have talked to, which sent soliciting information after my arrest, their fees, and their comments. Each one willing to represent me or fight the charge, if I decided to pay for their services for retainer (which I do not have the capital to spend currently). Using that information, mention of lawyers that the specific DMV officer that has dealt with a specific lawyer I have contacted, and the possible threat of obtaining a "writ" if the suspension is not "set aside." In that case, the DMV attorney in Sacramento would be contacted and as far as I know, legal fees that I do happen to spend would be reimbursed if it is found that eventually the writ could be obtained and accepted. Hopefully this could be some reason for the DMV hearing administrator to act in my interest and "set aside" the suspension. I am also curious to see if the actual arresting officer shows up to the DMV, as my initial thoughts would be that he would be too busy or not even subpoenaed in the first place. This may be a bad presumption though. As far as trying to go to a jury trial, I do believe that this is a possible pathway. Depending on what is on the police videos, or if they even can produce video footage of the stop, detainment, interrogation, I feel that I may have a reasonable defense and I do feel that I could convince at least 1 juror out of 12 to believe that there is reasonable doubt as to the charges. I would actually feel somewhat comfortable taking the stand and attempting to explain the circumstances. This may be a "risky" proposition though, because it is possible that, if found guilty, the sentence could be pushed further upwards rather than just the minimum. However, seeing that this is my future livelihood at stake and that I do have time to invest in an optimal outcome, it may be a path to take. I also will claim that I have a grievance with the priors, to which I plead "no contest" in both events as I was young, scared, and just wanted to get past it. I do not think I was given the best advice, nor optimal outcomes in either situation, and may have some constitutional grounds to appeal or have them stricken from the record. Thank you in advance.
